This site is located in west Seattle at the intersection of two major streets. The mass of the project is pushed toward the corner in a deliberate effort to define and enhance the intersection. The southeast corner of the building is eroded to open out toward the view which is characterized by an axial relationship with Mt. Rainier. The commercial area of the building is transparent and open and features dedicated parking with a separate entrance. |
